
According to Wikipedia, “design thinking refers to the cognitive, strategic and practical processes by which design concepts (proposals for new products, buildings, machines, etc.) are developed by designers and/or design teams.” Giselle Abramovich recently wrote an article in CMO.com by Adobe highlighting “15 mind-blowing stats about design thinking.” You can find all 15 here, but in the meantime, here’s a taste:
- 75% of organizations self-report that they are engaged in design thinking.
- 71% of organizations that practice design thinking report it has improved their working culture on a team level.
- In a survey where companies were analyzed for their creativity, those who ranked highly for fostering creativity were also recently awarded recognition for being a “best place to work.
